about

This Bandcamp exclusive was recorded at St Kilda’s Esplanade Hotel during the 2000 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. ‘Martin/Molloy’ producer Peter Grace was filming the show from the audience and the audio was captured by his camera, not via the stage microphone, hence the album’s ‘bootleg’ sound quality.

As the recording is 21 years old, some (but not all) of the more mystifying millennium-centric references have been excised, along with the set’s finale, which made cost-prohibitive use of a Barry White number.
